Decision making models are all about making good judgements. There are judgements that are emotional, spur of the moment, horseback or back of envelope. There are also the rational informed kind. The rational informed kind are the ones that most of us want to make. That is especially true when it comes to business where dollars are on the line.
It's not hard to define what a decision is. It is the process of finding feasible alternatives. It is then the act of choosing one out of all of those possible alternatives. When we chose an alternative, we make a commitment. We have rejected all of the other alternatives. We have decided.
Example of a Decision Matrix - How to evaluate an opportunity in light of your strengths and weaknesses.
Sample SWOT Analysis - How to spread out your alternative with weights and measures that let you know what is real.
Good decision making models make a business grow. Bad
ones will give your business a burn rate. The fuel that burns is your money
and your investor's money.
