BA and Project Management
by: Anonymous

I started working as a BA in 1968 when it was called Procedures Analyst and throughout the years wore the hats of Business Analyst, Quality Assurance Manager, Business Systems Analyst and Project Manager. After 23 years in the banking industry I became an independent consultant and sold my skills back to my former employer. While I like how you have summarized the important duties of the position, I would have liked to see BA given the prominence it deserves in every business organization. Too often the PM gets the appreciation instead of the BA. Today, I speak to inspire high school children about pursuing such a wonderful career. GENOME
