I am a marketing professional. I am working as a project coordinator in a business consultancy company. I want to change my job profile and switch to business analyst. What are the things i have to do/improve that to I could be a skilled business analyst?
Answer: There are some educational background that will automatically qualify a person as an entry level business analyst. These include, most business majors, industrial engineering graduates, economics majors, etc.
If your education does not give you good business knowledge, then certification is a good way to qualify for many business analysis jobs. The International Institute of Business Analysis offers several certification that can be earned by study and testing.
Another certification route is Six Sigma certification. Check out more information about Six Sigma at the following links: Six Sigma Tutorial, Overview of Six Sigma, Six Sigma Methodology, Six Sigma Tools and Six Sigma Courses.
