Weights for the Decision Matrix or Pugh Matrix by: Dee Reavis
Calculate is not the right word for choosing weights for the decision matrix. The weights are chosen on a qualitative or non-number basis. You would look at the criteria that you have chosen to include in the decision matrix. How important is one criteria versus another. One good way is to rank your criteria. Then assign a relative weight based on your ranking and your feeling of its importance to you or your organization.
