I am a postgraduate student with an engineering background who is considering a career as a business analyst. Although I am completing an MBA I am a bit confused on how to enter into that job. Is my MBA enough? Should I get additional training? If yes which one?
I hope to read your answer soon.
Thanks for creating such a great website.

Answer:
When you are looking for a first job in a field, then certification is a good thing to have. There are a number of organizations that offer certification courses. Go to Business Analysts and look at the advertisements. You will see several ads for companies offering training in business analysis that can lead to certification. Villanova University is one that offers their BA training online.
